Research interests
I completed my medical studies at the University of Cambridge and entered specialty training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in Oxford. I am also an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Bristol.
I previously completed a DPhil (PhD) at the University of Oxford, funded by an NIHR Doctoral Fellowship, focusing on "Improving outcomes for patients having shoulder replacements: guiding patient selection, evaluating cost-effectiveness and informing NHS provision".
I now undertake joint replacement surgery research using national registry and hospital data, working to better understand patient outcomes and support evidence-based clinical decision-making. I collaborate closely with colleagues across the UK and internationally, contributing to research that aims to inform patient care and health policy.
